Sharing Time

Reflections in my mind, thinking about you
A past that use to shine
Now it is only with tears that I share the time
And it is with each tear my pillow soaks up
One more moment without you that chokes me up
Lost in the night, no longer able to hold you tight
And I never even got to say goodnight
Now in darkness demons I fight
When it was you that use to bring me light
But now my whole life fades into the night
Because without you I was no longer able to fight
