A beauty that resides in you 

Words to confess, wishes to come true 

Every thought begins and ends with you 

Wishing for another moment next to you 

This way I might be able to speak these words 

But tongue twisted and tied 

The pounding of my heart is the only sounds as we lie

So with every ring of my phone I’m hoping it's you 

Thinking about every moment that could be 

Wishing for more and I can't wait to see

Every pondering thought ends with what could this be 

As I sit here I see you have truly captivated me

Harsh moments of truths

Words I once whispered to you 

Setting out to find my truth 

The emotional roller coaster I use to be

You standing there, the only road block I could see  

Now shut down and cold, the only thing you will ever know 

So as my words slow down

True peace has nothing to be found  

Pictures with smile are an every day act

As it is my heart that forever wears a frown 

Tip toeing through, not making a sound 

As this cold heart is to fragile for another round
