The words I write 

Challenging my mind as I fight 

But here they unite 

As its pen to pad in this darkness I fight 

Seeing the rhythm to the rhyme 

Each word wrote as it is my time to shine 

Out smarted only by the confidence I lack

But here I am fighting right back

This is now the story from which I wish to unplug 

Heart filled with pain 

My tear's pouring like rain 

Soaking the pages written each day 

Burning of the words you left me with that day 

Now only trying to look the other way 

All but lost, when I fell for you that day 

Now the only thought is you slowly walking away

Letting go 

Blow for blow 

How much further can I go 

Darkest just before the dawn 

Twenty third hour is what I'm working on  

The Suns warmth, A comfort in my life

Needing just that flicker of light

Wanting to be alright

Seeing the end to this dark night

Slashing at the pain 

I feel a new warmth that stains 

The light becomes so bright 

Seeing what I have done to my own life 

Leaving with…
