Sitting down to write
Thinking about this and what I have made of my life
Now only to say goodnight
Wishing it was still to you, but as my beautiful wife
Now throwing it all away
With these last few words I write today
As it's to the good Lord I pray
Finally walking away
With a tear rolling down my face
As I see the pain I caused you in every way
But no longer as I am gone today
