This is what I've been chasing since I was 11 years old

An up hill battle each day

But it's the strength of your love

That got me through each day

And now as it's in Nashville I stand 

I can see I am well on my way 

Living the dreams each day

But still missing you in every way

So still wishing you where here today

As it's as each tear I cry trying to figure out why 

But alone on this night it's only myself I have to ask?

Words I've forgotten, You use to say 

So as one thought leads to the next 

It's in my grave as you throw roses on my chest 

Thinking of life and the moments that there will be next 

But it's without my laughter that our kids will play 

My guiding words and telling you, It will be ok 

All as I walked away 

In the pain I was in
