Forgiveness
By John M Lennon
The stature to stand strong
But it was you I was leaning on
To buckle when you fold
Now in this place I don’t know
As I don’t have you their anymore
To back me like you did before
So it’s inside I have reached
Seeing the shallow depths of my peaks
Trying to build a better man
It’s on my own two legs I must stand
Breaking my back is my only plan
Living this life with no gains
Reliving all of my pain
Slashing at my weak tonight I finally fall asleep
One last breath with you I wish I could breathe
As it would be for forgiveness I would beg and plead
