Looking To You
By John M Lennon
Lost at step one
The only father I knew, a faith that has not yet grown true
Your foot prints washed away, turning to look back
A feeling of loneliness
Looking for you
When it was me in doubt it was you the only one I could think about
But on the high end of low I forgot how to look to you, on which direction to go
So I tried to build my own road
Bumps an cracks, they all washed out
At the top of my lungs I would scream and shout
And even then you would answer me like I was your only son
Setting me back on the right track
Rough roads ahead but only if I try to conquer them on my own again
