All My Life Has Meant

I've fought

I've chased 

I've dreamed

But yet none of that matters, as much as you and me 

Sitting down, writing transcribing my life 

Good, bad, ups and downs 

Heart has been filled with sorrow, even on the highest of ground 

Even as I have been lifted this high among the birds, I still wish I could fly 

Because it's the crashing down that always seems to turn my world around 

So as I dig this deep dark hole 

Can I ask you one favor, before letting go 

Will you hold my hand one last time, 

Looking into my eyes like you use too all the time 

Tell me of the love I had for all of time 

That is all I will need to be put to rest 

Just know I lived my life with regret 

Hell without heaven as you all sing

This is all my life now means
