Eyes reopened wide
Looking into the light not wanting to die
Words of encouragement and reasons why
Holding your hand while you are by my side
Every reason wished upon to keep me alive
So as I find the strength that is you
My new guiding light
A helping hand to help me fight
These are the reasons I am still here tonight
And I thank you for sharing your might
As now I have a second chance at this wonderful life
