With every word to pass by    

One last one    

And the only reason why    

Set alone to die    

This will be the last time I cry    

Looking into the light     

Embracing something I will not fight     

Taking my angels hand     

Looking back to say goodnight    

With my life fading into the bright      

When all you wanted was my warmth    

Holding you close and tight    

Leaving you in the darkness    

Which use to be my life    

So now it's you that turns old   

In a bed that is cold      

Seeing the darkness unfold    

Only then do you see this light    

Every reason I would not fight    

Now following my life    

You see this is the only reason tonight
